Mount your Canon C70 in the LeftField cage system to broaden your rigging options. Add a 15mm LWS baseplate for a steady foundation with a rigid frame for mounting top handles, brackets & other accessories.

Each Base kit comes with the Top Plate, Side Plate & LeftField 3 15mm LWS Baseplate (Standard).

The cage not only protects your camera but opens up rigging possibilities with integrated NATO rails & helicoil reinforced 1/4″ & 3/8″ threads with anti-twist ports. Adding a camera strap takes seconds using the integrated QD sockets and won’t get in the way when not in use.

With the patented Open•Up baseplate you can move from tripod to handheld in seconds by simply lifting the camera off from the dovetail.

Helicoil, NATO and QD

When it comes to rigging, you can choose from threaded, NATO or QD points, or any combination you need. All threaded points are stainless-steel helicoiled for added strength. Helicoil fittings are crucial to prevent thread stripping or binding. An important factor to consider when constantly changing rig configurations.
