Description

Cage your Sony VENICE 2, adding a steady foundation ready for any filmmaking project. Quick change dovetails and a detachable baseplate allow for rapid changes between setups.

Each base kit comes with the sliding top plate, left & right side plates, Split Riser 15mm LWS baseplate, dovetail plate & carrying top handle.

  • Completely rigid cage for rigging with detachable baseplate for low profile setups on gimbal/steadicam.
  • Multiple safety mechanisms for increased reliability on set
  • Patented Open•UP quick-release to snap on/off any ARRI standard dovetail
  • Top & bottom 15mm LWS rod mount, ARRI rosettes, 1/4″ & 3/8″ threaded points for accessory mounting.
  • DVF-EL200 ready with Axl EVF mount with 3-axis locking knob for fast adjustments.

The LeftField System for the Sony VENICE 2 has been built to reliably deliver time after time. The cage provides an extremely rigid frame for rigging with helicoil reinforced mounting points, rosettes for handles & 15mm rod support for EVFs and focus motors.

Time on set is critical, each part of the system has been designed for rapid changes in a safe manner with interchangeable dovetails that can be preconfigured.

Reliability is a key factor for large productions. Multiple safety mechanisms have been integrated removing any chance of failure & accidents on set.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

Each Base Kit comes with the Sliding Top Plate, Side Plates, Split Riser 15mm LWS Baseplate & Standard Top Handle.

The kit is also compatible with the KASBAH shoulder support system with a range of hand grip options and shoulder pad for all-day comfort.

Delivery

Please note, for next-day shipping options the product must show in stock in the product status and be before the cut-off period. If the product does not show in stock most items will give an approximate lead time.

Collection
 Free Collection is available at our showroom in Hampton, please select this option at the payment stage at the checkout. Please allow one hour to pick and prepare your order for you so it is ready for you when you arrive. Collections must be made at our office during the hours of 9 am to 5:30 pm (Mon to Thurs) and 9 am to 5 pm (Friday).

Standard Delivery
Standard delivery costs £5.99 including VAT and will be sent out by Royal Mail or APC, this service can take 3-5 working days.

FREE UK Delivery On Orders Over £250
We offer FREE standard delivery on all orders over £250 Ex VAT to the UK mainland. Mon-Fri working days only. Saturday deliveries are not guaranteed.

Next Working Day Delivery
UK mainland orders placed before 2 pm will be dispatched the same day for next-day delivery. To qualify for next-day delivery orders must be placed before 2 pm Mon – Thur. Orders placed after 2 pm Thursday will be dispatched Friday for Monday delivery, excluding Bank Holidays. The charge for this service is £12.00 plus VAT. This service is only available for products that are in stock.

Saturday Delivery
Order before 2pm on Friday for Saturday deliveries. Saturday delivery cost £27.50 including VAT – this is only for the UK mainland.
