The Fujifilm XC 13-33mm f3.5-6.3 OIS replaces the XC 15-45mm f3.5-5.6 OIS PZ as the smallest and lightest zoom lens with the widest angle of view in the XC series. The lens offers a 20-50mm full-frame equivalent range, covering a wide variety of subjects, from landscapes and indoor photography at the wide end to portraits and street photography at the short telephoto end. Weighing just 125g, its lightweight build makes it an excellent choice for travel or street photography, while its retractable design lets it pack down to an even smaller profile when not in use.

Advanced optical construction for high-resolution imaging

The Fujifilm XC 13-33mm f3.5-6.3 OIS lens has an advanced design that supports high-resolution images and videos. The lens features an optical construction of 10 elements in 9 groups, including 4 aspherical and 3 ED elements. These correct common characteristics found in wide-angle lenses, such as field curvature, distortion, and chromatic aberration, across the entire zoom range. The lens also achieves a minimum focus distance of 20cm and a maximum magnification of 0.25x at the telephoto end. This makes it suitable for macro photography or close-up, detailed shots of flowers, plants, pets, and more.

With a built-in Optical Image Stabilisation system offering up to 4 stops of correction, the Fujifilm XC 13-33mm f3.5-6.3 OIS ensures precise, steady results when shooting handheld. Whether capturing scenes in low light or using slower shutter speeds, the stabilisation system will reduce the impact of camera shake, making the lens an excellent choice for cameras without IBIS. Users can configure OIS using the camera menu, selecting from continuous operation, shutter-only activation, or complete deactivation, which is recommended when using a tripod. An autofocus mechanism with a speed of approximately 0.025 seconds enables high-speed, precise autofocus for capturing sharp shots of subjects on the move.
