Hawk-Woods BP-50UX 14.4V BPU Battery (BP-50UX) has been designed, manufactured and tested as a direct replacement for Sony BP-U type batteries. With a built-in fuel gauge and Hawk-Woods build quality, this high-tech Li-Ion battery delivers impressive performance for its size and weight.

Unlike many BP-U replacement batteries on the market, the BP-50UX uses the original battery contacts to provide power, rather than relying on a flying lead connected to the device’s DC power input.

The built-in Total Battery Protection system offers over-discharge / over-voltage protection (for example, if placed on an unsuitable or incorrect charger), as well as short-circuit protection and thermal protection.

We’ve also added dual unregulated D-Tap power outputs (11–17V) for powering accessories.

As the smaller sibling to our popular BP-98UX, the BP-50UX is ideal for camera setups where you want to reduce weight and size without compromising on performance.

Please note, for next-day shipping options the product must show in stock in the product status and be before the cut-off period. If the product does not show in stock most items will give an approximate lead time.

Collection
Free Collection is available at our showroom in Hampton, please select this option at the payment stage at the checkout. Please allow one hour to pick and prepare your order for you so it is ready for you when you arrive. Collections must be made at our office during the hours of 9 am to 5:30 pm (Mon to Thurs) and 9 am to 5 pm (Friday).

Standard Delivery
Standard delivery costs £5.99 including VAT and will be sent out by Royal Mail, DPD or APC, this service can take 3-5 working days.

FREE UK Delivery On Orders Over £300 Ex. VAT
We offer FREE standard delivery on all orders over £300 Ex VAT to the UK mainland. Mon-Fri working days only. Saturday deliveries are not guaranteed.

Next Working Day Delivery
UK mainland orders placed before 2 pm will be dispatched the same day for next-day delivery. To qualify for next-day delivery orders must be placed before 2 pm Mon – Thur. Orders placed after 2 pm Thursday will be dispatched Friday for Monday delivery, excluding Bank Holidays. The charge for this service is £12.00 plus VAT. This service is only available for products that are in stock.

Saturday Delivery
Order before 2pm on Friday for Saturday deliveries. Saturday delivery cost £27.50 including VAT – this is only for the UK mainland.
