Description

Panasonic BGH1 Accessory Kit (Pro, V-Mount) is a professional camera support package designed for the Panasonic LUMIX BGH1 camera. The BGH1 accessory package features our Panasonic BGH1 Camera Cage – a form fitting wrap-around camera cage for secure camera accessory attachment, the Mini Top Handle (3/8-16), and the LW 15mm Baseplate (Panasonic BGH1) – a quick release baseplate that holds two 15mm rods at the correct lens height, Safety Dovetail (12”) which interfaces with the ARRI dovetail slot on the bottom of the LW 15mm Baseplate, two 15mm Rod (12″), and the Micro V-Mount Battery Slide (Panasonic BGH1).

Mini Top Handle (3/8-16)

Mini Top Handle (3/8-16) is a compact, lightweight top handle that features an array of 1/4″-20 and 3/8”-16 mounting points with ARRI locating pin compatibility. The handle utilizes a versatile captive 3/8″-16 bolt-on mechanism with removable safety pins for mounting which can be tightened with either a flathead screwdriver, 5/32” Allen, or 4mm Allen Key. Mini Top Handle (3/8-16) measures 4.3in (110mm) end to end.

Panasonic BGH1 Camera Cage

Panasonic BGH1 Camera Cage is a feature-rich wrap-around camera cage designed exclusively for the Panasonic LUMIX BGH1 camera and features engraved markings to indicate the camera’s focal plane. The custom cage design offers added support and stability while providing an array of industry-standard 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 mounting points along the sides of the cage. The side of the cage also features a NATO standard rail with a spring loaded pin to prevent accidental accessory removal.

An ARCA Swiss Top Plate and dovetail clamping slot can be found on the top of the cage. Top Plate slides into ARCA Swiss slot to provide rows of 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 ARRI accessory mounts in standard spacing and can be adjusted forwards/backwards. Great for attaching to gimbal and drone systems or for using Wooden Camera products such as the Mini Top Handle (3/8-16) and Tilt Monitor Hinge (3/8-16).

Side mounting points feature a Wooden Camera standard locating hole pattern which is compatible with ARRI standard locating pin accessories.

LW 15mm Baseplate (Panasonic BGH1)

Quick release baseplate that provides lightweight 15mm rod support at the correct lens height. 15mm rods pass through front to back and have two locking thumb screws per side. The baseplate quick releases in two ways, giving the user the option to take the 15mm lightweight rods or to leave them behind.

Baseplate features an upper ARCA Swiss standard dovetail with 3/8”-16 screw for attaching to the bottom of the camera. Upper ARCA Swiss standard dovetail slides into the LW 15mm Baseplate core, and includes a safety release button for removal. Also features a vertical lens support post system.
Lower dovetail slot is ARRI standard for attaching to compatible ARRI dovetails or the included Quick Dovetail.

Micro V-Mount Battery Slide (Panasonic BGH1)

Micro V-Mount Battery Slide (Panasonic BGH1) utilizes an Anton/Bauer micro battery plate which provides a regulated 12v to a 3-Pin LEMO compatible connector for camera power. The plate attaches directly to any 3/8″-16 mounting point without the need for rods. Position can be adjusted along the battery slide.
The user retains the ability to hot swap between the onboard Panasonic AG-VBR59 and external battery. The Micro Battery Slide is compatible with both micro and full-sized batteries.

It also features two D-Tap (5.8 Amps) ports for accessory power as well as a digital fuse which cuts off accessory outputs, should the user exceed the set current for accessories, while leaving the camera powered. Once the current load has been reduced by either removing accessories or reconfiguring, the reset button can be pressed to enable accessory power again.

Connectors used in this assembly are not manufactured by LEMO but are made to the same specifications and are LEMO compatible.
