ARRI Bridge Plate Adapter BPA-2 K2.66172.0 With the ARRI BPA-2 attached, ALEXA, ALEXA Plus, ALEXA Plus 4:3, ALEXA M body, ALEXA XT, ALEXA XT Plus, ALEXA XT M body or adapter plate for Canon EOS C100 /300 /500 can be attached to a traditional ARRI cine-style bridge plate, including the BP-3, 5, 8 or 9. Attaches to the front foot of these cameras. Not needed on ALEXA Studio and ALEXA XT Studio.
This ARRI Bridge Plate Adapter BPA-2 K2.66172.0 adds a set of centered bottom 3/8″-16 threaded mounting holes, and is compatible with optional ARRI Cine Bridge Plates such as the BP-8 and BP-9 (not included). The BPA-2 is for all ALEXA camera models except the ALEXA Studio, for which it is not necessary. The BPA-2 is also compatible with the Canon C100/300/500 cameras. When used with these cameras, it provides the correct position of the mounting screws, ensuring that the camera is centered properly for rod-mounted accessories. Ensures that camera is optically centered for 19 and 15mm studio support rods.
