The Aputure STORM 400x is a powerful 400W point-source LED fixture designed for professional film, broadcast, television, and content production. Built on the same advanced platform as the acclaimed STORM 1200x and STORM XT52, the STORM 400x incorporates Aputure’s revolutionary BLAIR (Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, Red) LED chipset, delivering exceptional colour accuracy, superior spectral output, and industry-leading white light performance.
Combining high output with a compact and rugged design, the STORM 400x is engineered to perform in demanding production environments. Its IP65 weather-resistant construction protects against dust and rain, while integrated CRMX wireless control enables seamless operation within professional lighting workflows. The fixture also features Aputure’s ProLock Bowens Mount, providing a secure connection for a wide range of lighting modifiers.
With an extensive 2,500K to 10,000K colour temperature range and full ±G green-magenta tint adjustment across the ASC MITC range, the STORM 400x offers precise control for matching ambient light, practical fixtures, and mixed lighting conditions. Whether shooting in the studio or on location, users can achieve consistent colour reproduction and maintain visual continuity across every scene.

Its intelligent cooling system includes four fan modes: Smart, High, Medium, and Silent. This allows users to optimize output based on shooting noise conditions.
Equipped with extensive control capabilities, including Sidus Link® and Sidus Link Pro® app compatibility, LumenRadio CRMX, and 16-bit DMX512 in/out, the STORM 400x integrates effortlessly into complex lighting networks and console- controlled environments.
