Description

Newly designed 90 degree Flag and Cutter frames will make it possible to position the instrument over the top of the set wall or to use two or more units to create a box for better light control. With this new design, there are now three square corners as opposed to the older design providing just two. In addition, the 48″x48″ frames have been squared off with the removal of the mouse ears. Flags are square or rectangular frames with mounting pins attached and covered with a solid cloth material. They are used to control light, whether natural or artificial.

Flags can be used to protect the camera lens from flares or to control spill light from other sources, or to keep light from reaching certain areas on the set. Known as Flags up to sizes 24″x36″, larger or more irregular sizes are referred to as Cutters. Floppies are Cutters which have an extra layer of material sewn to one edge and held in place with Velcro until needed at which time the Flag or Cutter becomes twice its original size. Use the number with a (B) after it for Bottom Hinge and the number with a (T) after to specify Top Hinge. See Pin configuration illustration shown below. All Matthews Scrims and Flags are bordered with heavy duty color coded webbing.

Delivery

Please note, for next-day shipping options the product must show in stock in the product status and be before the cut-off period. If the product does not show in stock most items will give an approximate lead time.

Collection
Free Collection is available at our showroom in Hampton, please select this option at the payment stage at the checkout. Please allow one hour to pick and prepare your order for you so it is ready for you when you arrive. Collections must be made at our office during the hours of 9 am to 5:30 pm (Mon to Thurs) and 9 am to 5 pm (Friday).

Standard Delivery
Standard delivery costs £5.99 including VAT and will be sent out by Royal Mail or APC, this service can take 3-5 working days.

FREE UK Delivery On Orders Over £250
We offer FREE standard delivery on all orders over £250 Ex VAT to the UK mainland. Mon-Fri working days only. Saturday deliveries are not guaranteed.

Next Working Day Delivery
UK mainland orders placed before 2 pm will be dispatched the same day for next-day delivery. To qualify for next-day delivery orders must be placed before 2 pm Mon – Thur. Orders placed after 2 pm Thursday will be dispatched Friday for Monday delivery, excluding Bank Holidays. The charge for this service is £12.00 plus VAT. This service is only available for products that are in stock.

Saturday Delivery
Order before 2pm on Friday for Saturday deliveries. Saturday delivery cost £27.50 including VAT – this is only for the UK mainland.
