The SmallHD Ultra 7 (16-0727) is a professional 7-inch touchscreen field monitor engineered for cinematographers, camera operators, focus pullers, and broadcast professionals who demand exceptional brightness, advanced monitoring tools, and reliable on-set performance. Featuring an ultra-bright 2300-nit display, the Ultra 7 delivers outstanding visibility in direct sunlight, making it the ideal on-camera monitor for film production, television, live events, and outdoor shooting environments.

Powered by SmallHD’s industry-leading PageOS software, the Ultra 7 provides access to a comprehensive suite of professional monitoring tools, including waveform, vectorscope, focus assist, false colour, exposure aids, and custom page layouts. Its responsive touchscreen interface is complemented by large front-facing programmable function buttons, allowing users to quickly access critical monitoring functions in fast-paced production environments.

Designed for modern cinema and broadcast workflows, the SmallHD Ultra 7 supports 4K video monitoring via 6G-SDI, enabling seamless integration with professional cinema cameras, broadcast systems, and video production setups. Its rugged construction ensures dependable operation in demanding on-location and studio environments.

The Ultra 7 also offers advanced camera control capabilities, making it a versatile monitoring solution for professional crews. An integrated Ethernet port enables optional camera control for ARRI and Sony VENICE camera systems, while the dedicated 5-pin USB connection supports RED® Camera Control (license and cable sold separately).

For maximum flexibility, the Ultra 7 can be configured with optional Gold Mount or V-Mount Micro Battery Plates, creating a compact and efficient power solution for mobile productions, handheld camera rigs, gimbals, and director’s monitoring stations.

Please note that for next-day delivery, the product must be marked as in stock and the order placed before the daily cut-off time. If an item is not in stock, an estimated lead time will typically be displayed.

Collection
Free Collection is available at our showroom in Hampton, please select this option at the payment stage at the checkout. Please allow one hour to pick and prepare your order for you so it is ready for you when you arrive. Collections must be made at our office during the hours of 9 am to 5:30 pm (Mon to Thurs) and 9 am to 5 pm (Friday).

Next Working Day Delivery
UK mainland orders placed before 2 pm will be dispatched the same day for next-day delivery. To qualify for next-day delivery orders must be placed before 2 pm Mon – Thur. Orders placed after 2 pm Thursday will be dispatched Friday for Monday delivery, excluding Bank Holidays. The charge for this service is £12.00 plus VAT. This service is only available for products that are in stock.
