Description
TVLogic LVM-242S 24’’ QC-Grade HDR Emulation LCD Monitor (TVL-LVM-242S) provides high picture quality and HDR emulation for the most accurate monitoring and field production applications.
Accurate Color Reproduction with Wide Color Gamut
The LVM-242S covers the DCI-P3 color space by 98%. And, this monitor can display 1.073 billion colors. The advanced calibration software of TVLogic ensures the accurate color reproduction.
Advanced Color Adjustment OSD
The LVM-242S provides various color adjustment menus which enable the user to monitor the video signal in the optimal settings.
EMBER + Protocol
The LVM-242S supports the Ember+ Protocol for easy control and interactive setting. It enables you to edit individual settings to best suit your requirements and make the workflow much easier by deep integration and control within a broadcast environment.
HD HDR Monitoring
The LVM-242S supports the various HDR EOTFs of PQ, HLG, S-Log3, which enables this monitor to display the HDR content faithfully.
EETF (Electrical-Electrical Transfer Function)
This function provides a toe and knee to gracefully roll off the highlights and shadows providing a balance between preserving the artistic intent and maintaining details.
Custom 3D LUT Import
The LVM-242S allows users to load their own created 3D LUT files generated by the color grading tools and apply them to the monitor. This function enables users to monitor the customised looks and easily compare the different on-set grading images.
PBP (Picture-by-Picture)
This function enables you to display the two different input videos on the screen at the same time. There are four PBP modes: Picture by Picture, Left & Right, Picture in Picture, Top & Bottom.
Fast Mode
This function can be used to minimise the deinterlacing processing time delay and improves the quality of fast moving and fine details under interlaced format.
It will not be effective under progressive format. Bypasses deinterlacer, playing back 2 full fields per frame. Also reduces signal processing delay for reduced audio/video delay.
TimeCode Display
Displays the Timecode information on the screen. Supporting mode is [VITC] and [LTC].
Waveform
The LVM-242S supports the various modes of Waveform such as Waveform Wide, Waveform YCbCr, Waveform RBG.
VectorScope
This function displays the color components ‘B-Y’ and ‘R-Y’ of the input signals onto X-Y axis. Two different types of VectorScopes are displayed according to SD or HD inputs signals. 100% and 75% sclaes are indicated on the VectorScope.
Marker
The LVM-242S has the various marker modes which allow the user to adjust Marker type, Center Market, Safety Area, Fit Marker, Market Mat, Marker Color, Marker Thickness, etc.
Focus Assist
Focus assist function assigns a color to the pixels in the shape or boundary area of the image to inform the user to make the best focus. With this funciton, user can easily differenciate the focused area from out-focused area especially shooting with shallow depth of field.
Luma (Y’) Zone Check
Analyses the Luma (Y’) level of the input image and displays the selected zone on the screen. After each pixel’s Y’ level is analysed, it is displayed as a certain color or zebra pattern according to the Index on the right side of the screen.
Closed Caption
When this function is set on, the monitor displays both speech and non-speech elements in the videos. CC608(ANC), CC608(LINE21), CC708, OP47 are supported.
Audio Level Meter
Displays the level of the embedded audio signal together with the video signal input through SDI and HDMI. Up to 16 channels are supported for SDI and 2 channels for HDMI.
Various modes of level meter helps the user with the convenient audio monitoring.
- Level meter channel number (16ch, 8ch, 4ch) and direction (horizontal, vertical) adjustable
- Level meter grouping available
- Audio channel – pair or group selectable.
- Level meter size (Small, Large) changeable.
Dynamic UMD
This function displays the tally signal and 8 to 16 letters that are input by TSL protocol on the screen.
- D-UMD (S-8C): Single tally and 8 letters
- D-UMD (S-16C): Single tally and 16 letters
- D-UMD (D-8C): a pair of tallies and a pair of 8 letters
Range Error
Analyses the input signal’s Luma(Y’) and chroma information(c’) and if the input signal exceeds the designated minimum value and maximum value, the pixel shall blink.
This function is to help the user to easily find out any unwanted level of signals and for better exposure setting.
Blue Only / Mono
Red and Green channels are not used and only Blue or Monochrome channel is used to display the screen.
This function is used to adjust the color tones (tones and saturation) of the screen using the SMPTE color bar. For example, after displaying the Blue channel, adjust the Color (or Saturation) and Tint (or Hue) so that the original Magenta and Cyan are of the same brightness, and the original Gray and Blue are of the same brightness.
