Aputure Storm 80c 3 Light Kit – UK

Yes. The Aputure Storm 80c light is highly versatile and can be used as a powerful tunable white light source. It features an extensive 1,800K to 20,000K colour temperature range, allowing you to accurately match natural daylight, tungsten lighting, or create custom lighting looks. The fixture also offers ±100% green/magenta adjustment across the full ASC MITC range, making it ideal for professional film, broadcast, studio, and content creation environments where precise colour control is essential.

The Aputure BLAIR-CG light engine (Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, Red, Cyan, and Green) delivers one of the widest colour spectrums available in a professional LED lighting fixture. Designed for high-end film, television, broadcast, and content creation, it provides exceptional colour accuracy, richer colour reproduction, and enhanced creative control.

For white light applications, BLAIR-CG offers an industry-leading 1,800K to 20,000K CCT range with ±100% green/magenta adjustment, covering the full ASC MITC range for precise colour matching. The advanced light engine can reproduce up to 90% of the Rec.2020 colour space, enabling highly saturated colours that are difficult to achieve with traditional LED fixtures. Its calibrated indigo emitter also improves the rendering of fluorescent materials and produces white light that more closely resembles natural daylight and tungsten sources, making it ideal for professional cinematography and broadcast production.

The Aputure 80c Storm Light is designed for creators who need professional lighting in a highly portable package. Measuring just 6" x 4" x 4" and weighing only 1kg, it's ideal for location shoots, travel productions, documentaries, interviews, and content creation.

The removable yoke and four integrated 3/8" mounting points provide flexible rigging options, while the optional STORM 80c Handheld Bracket adds a comfortable grip, V-Mount battery plate, and D-Tap power support for mobile operation. The light can also be powered via USB-C, making it compatible with compact power banks and portable battery solutions.

To maximise versatility, the STORM 80c uses Aputure's Mini ProLock mount, supporting a growing ecosystem of accessories, including the 35° Hyper Reflector, Mini Lantern, CF4 Fresnel, Light Dome 40, and Lantern 30. An optional Bowens mount adapter is also available, allowing compatibility with a wide range of industry-standard light modifiers.

The Aputure Storm 80c offers multiple power options, making it an ideal LED light for both studio and location production. The fixture can be powered using the included AC power adapter for mains operation, or with a V-Mount battery when used alongside the optional STORM 80c Handheld Bracket, which includes a battery plate and D-Tap cable for mobile workflows.

For even greater flexibility, the STORM 80c also features USB-C power input, allowing it to run from compatible high-output USB-C power banks and portable power solutions. To ensure full performance, the USB-C source must be capable of delivering 100W Power Delivery (PD). This versatile power system makes the STORM 80c an excellent choice for filmmakers, content creators, videographers, and photographers who need reliable lighting in both studio and on-location environments.
