Sony DC-78 Battery Power Unit (DC-78) is a compact and in-line power supply for the Sony lavalier microphone range. It can be used to configure the popular ECM-44BC/77BC/88BC and ECM-90BC for use as wired microphones.

– Designed for use with Sony lavalier microphones equipped with a Sony 4-pin (SMC9-4P) connector
– Two-way powering: battery operation (using an AA-size (LR6) alkaline battery) or external DC operation (12 to 48 V)
– Supplied with an SMC9-4S input connector and an XLR 3-pin output connector

Flexibility

The DC-78 allows ‘wireless ready’ Sony ECM microphones (such as ECM-44BC/77BC/88BC and ECM-90BC) to be converted for use as wired microphones. The DC-78 is a compact in-line unit, with a 4-pin socket for the ECM microphone, a AA battery compartment and an XLR output connector. The DC-78 provides the flexibility of additional working methods, for example the microphone can be easily switched between a wireless and wired modes.

Versatilite powering options

The DC-78 allows Sony ECM microphones to powered for wired use, either by the internal AA battery or an external 48volt phantom powering.

Please note, for next-day shipping options the product must show in stock in the product status and be before the cut-off period. If the product does not show in stock most items will give an approximate lead time.

Collection
Free Collection is available at our showroom in Hampton, please select this option at the payment stage at the checkout. Please allow one hour to pick and prepare your order for you so it is ready for you when you arrive. Collections must be made at our office during the hours of 9 am to 5:30 pm (Mon to Thurs) and 9 am to 5 pm (Friday).

Standard Delivery
Standard delivery costs £5.99 including VAT and will be sent out by Royal Mail, DPD or APC, this service can take 3-5 working days.

FREE UK Delivery On Orders Over £300 Ex. VAT
We offer FREE standard delivery on all orders over £300 Ex VAT to the UK mainland. Mon-Fri working days only. Saturday deliveries are not guaranteed.

Next Working Day Delivery
UK mainland orders placed before 2 pm will be dispatched the same day for next-day delivery. To qualify for next-day delivery orders must be placed before 2 pm Mon – Thur. Orders placed after 2 pm Thursday will be dispatched Friday for Monday delivery, excluding Bank Holidays. The charge for this service is £12.00 plus VAT. This service is only available for products that are in stock.

Saturday Delivery
Order before 2pm on Friday for Saturday deliveries. Saturday delivery cost £27.50 including VAT – this is only for the UK mainland.
